Microsoft has also promised to announce a Surface Duo 3 phone and update the Surface Go. The event will also mark the 10-year anniversary of Microsoft’s Surface line.

As for the new Surface devices, the Surface Studio 3 could be among the most anticipated. Its current model was last updated in 2018 and uses an outdated 7th-gen Intel Core chip. The new Surface Studio is expected to come with a new Intel chip and an upgraded NVIDIA GPU. Another likely device to be updated is the Surface Headphones and Earbuds.

The Surface Pro 9 could debut with a 12th-generation General Intel Core i5 or i7 processor. A Qualcomm variant may also be included. It is also expected to offer 5G connectivity. It may also come with customizable storage of up to 1TB. Other rumored hardware features include new colors such as Forest and Sapphire. The Graphite and Platinum versions are also expected to be refreshed.

Microsoft’s Surface event is also expected to see the launch of a new Surface Laptop. The Surface Laptop 5 would be the successor to the Surface Laptop 4, which launched in 2013. The Surface Laptop 5 won’t have any major changes, but it will be faster than the Surface Pro 8, with Core i5 and i7 processors.
